Tamarisk removal and phragmites mowing April 24th - 25th, 8:00 am - Dark Meet at the channel boat launch. We will be using excavators to remove the tamarisk trees (including stumps) and shrubs as well as field brush mowers and gas powered trimmers, to mow the phragmites.
Dress for the current weather as all work is outside. Long pants and closed toe shoes are required. Gloves and safety glasses are preferred. Muck boots and waders will also be useful Lunch will be provided for those who work the day, so please let us know your coming in advance. If you have a piece of heavy equipment, a field brush mower or gas powered trimmer with a steel blade your welcome to bring it out.
