 Wasatch Wigeons phragmites/tamarisk removal efforts have reached the point were its time to start re-vegetarian efforts. We'll be planting 900 bulrush plugs on the Willard Spur
When: June 10th, 7:00 am until done. Should be 5-6 hours pending volunteer turn out Where: Meet up at the Flying J parking lot by the Willard Bay North Marina What to bring: Gloves, sun screen, bug spray, muck boots, dress for current weather conditions Boats: We could use boats (mud boat & Airboats) to shuttle crew/supplies back and forth from job sites. Let us know if you plan on bring yours out. Water/drinks will be provided February 18th, 7:00 am Ogden Nature Center Normally 4-5 hours February 25th, 7:00 am Farmington Bay WMA March 4th, 7:00 am Ogden Bay WMA March 11th, 7:00 am Cutler reservoir (Benson) Come out and join us at one of our waterfowl nest box re-thatching and maintenance days. Work is done outside, so make sure you dress warm. Waders are required. Please contact POC with any questions. What: WW will be conducting a phragmites mowing at the Bear River Mitgratory Bird Refuge When: July 9th, 6:00 am - 3:00 pm (completion time is estimated) Where: Meet at the job site off the Forest Street.
