Tamarisk removal and phragmites mowing April 17th - 18th, 8:00 am - Dark
Meet at the boat launches by the North West (back side) corner of Willard Bay

We will be using excavators to remove the tamarisk trees (including stumps) and shrubs as well as field brush mowers and gas powered trimmers, to mow the phragmites.  
Dress for the current weather as all work is outside.  Long pants and closed toe shoes are required.  Gloves and safety glasses are preferred.
Lunch will be provided for those who work the day, so please let us know your coming in advance.
​If you have a piece of heavy equipment, a field brush mower or gas powered trimmer with a steel blade your welcome to bring it out.  Please contact our POC Troy Burgess (801-620-0729 or email: [email protected]) to make arrangements.

WHAT: Wasatch Wigeons will be parking cars as a fundraiser, for the Frisbee Football World Championship.
WW will receive a percentage of the proceeds raised from parking fees.
WHEN: June 24th, 25th, & 26th, hours are 6:30 am - 4:30 pm
WHERE: Observatory Park, Ogden Utah
BRING: Volunteers will need to:
1. Dress for the current weather conditions
2. Be prepared to stay all day
3. Bring sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses
Water will be provided.
Volunteers who work the entire day will be gifted the following:
1. A couples ticket (plus raffle tickets), to this years corporate banquet at the Timber Mine Sept. 17th
2. A WW hat and lanyard
3. Lunch

Bear River Nest Box Re-thatching
​Saturday March 13th, 2021 10:00 am 3640 N. 3000 W. Smithfield Ut.

​Come on out and help us re-thatch and maintain our nest boxes and geese platforms in Cache Valley.
Work is done outside, so dress warm.  waders and mock boats are preferred.
​Work will be done primarily from boats

February 27th, 8:00 am at Farmington Bay WMA Main Entrance                     Normally 4-5 hours
March 6th, 8:00 am Ogden Bay WMA main Parking Lot                                   Normally 4-5 hours
March 13th, 8:00 am Ogden Nature Center main parking lot                            Normally 3-4 hours

.Come out and join us at one of our waterfowl nest box re-thatching and maintenance days.
Work is done outside, so make sure you dress warm.  Waders or muck boots are perferred.
