Our President Troy Burgess and Vic. President Alan Petersen taught a class of sixth graders at Capstone Classic Academy about waterfowl, their habitat and WW nest box program.

The crew supported by several volunteers tackled the challenges and got all the nest boxes re-thatched at Ogden Bay this year. This year marks five years of ongoing maintenance of these nest structures.
Coots conduct predation on duck nest and ducklings, so we have decided to bring an awareness to this in fun event. We had 58 people sign up with 27 harvesting two or more coots making a total harvest of 84 coots.
We removed the old tower that was becoming unsafe and partnered with "Youth Build" to design and build this amazing tower/blind. Now the local community can enjoy watching the wild life at Kingfisher with out disturbance.
This year's fair was on June 23rd. We had a nice size crowd show up. Lots of fun stuff for the kids to do, touch and learn about. We want to tank all our vendors and volunteers that made this year's fair a success.
Today we set the footings for the new tower and hauled out the old one. Lots of youngsters showed up today to volunteer including a whole family. Making the day feel more like a family project day.
