Our crew of volunteer planted 920 bulrush plugs, mowed phragmites and pulled an old abandoned
duck blind. This is our second year of this four year project to improve approximately 6.5 miles (27 acres) of wetland shoreline.
We continued our work pushing back phragmites at Kingfisher wetlands. We also signed a MOU with Utah DWR to phragmites control on the Willard Spur WMA. The crew sprayed 1.4 miles of shoreline along the channel from the boat ramp to the open water.
We planted millet food plots at Salt Creek WMA and a special Duck Kandy food plot at Kingfisher wetlands.
