We partnered with FFSL to remove the 20+ year old Willard Spur can opener. Many people said it could never be done. Challenges accepted.
This project was completed two weeks early and under budget by a dedicated crew of officers and volunteers. The spur is now safer for boat traffic and the old Lincoln Zephyr is now finally out of the wet land. Yes, I said Lincoln Zephyr. What was believed to be an upside down military jeep turned out to be an old Lincoln Zephyr.
The event starts at 10am - 4pm
We are Partnering with Weber County and the Ogden Nature Center to bring the first of hopefully many successful youth fairs to come to get our youth outdoors and interested in something other than video games and tv shows.
Lots of fun acitivities for youth. This fair is all about getting kids outside and helping them find an interest in the great outdoors. bring the whole family admission is FREE, parking is also FREE.
Concessions will be on site.
Vendors wanting to join please email Troy@wasatchWigeons.org
We will be meeting at the Ogden Nature Center at 8am.
We can use all the help we can get on this lare on-going project. Please bring gloves, safety glasses, bug spray, sun screen, water. Chain saws, clippers or any other brush clearing tools will be useful. We will have water & sodas on site.
This project is Kid friendly. We just will have to be safe around the chipper and chain saws. There is plenty to do & the Nature center is just a cool place, to take the kids anyway.
